REFERENCE STALLIONS
Bajazzo

Pedigree
Image

Bajazzo is a 16.3hh, Oldenburg stallion who was imported from Germany in 1993 where he was licensed, approved and performance tested in 1983 at Adelheidsdorf, scoring 109.67 points.  He received very high marks for character, trainability, jumping, trot and especially the walk.  Bajazzo competed successfully in Germany in all three Olympic disciplines.

Since his arrival in Canada, Bajazzo has proven himself as a sire of tall, athletic, performance horses.  His offspring consistently display rideability, trainability and three good basic paces.  They are bold with wonderful dispositions and perfect for the next generation of young performance prospects.  He has three licensed stallions, Beau Soleil, Barabas and Borodin as well as numerous foal futurity winners to his credit. Bajazzo also sired Boogie Man, the highest selling CWHBA auction horse of 2001.

Wolkenstein II

Of all the sons of Weltmeyer, Wolkenstein II is probably the best son so far. His sire, Weltmeyer, in combination with a prepotent dam line has produced a stallion whose own performance record speaks for itself: Reserve Champion at the stallion licensing in Verden, 1992; winner of the three-year-old Stallions Classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses and winner of the Stallion Performance Test in 1993 with an overall score of 139.60; dressage score of 138.89 and jumping score of 124.90. Importantly, the young Wolkenstein II passes on his outstanding talent for dressage and his tremendous presence to his offspring: In 1997 six sons out of his first crop were licensed in Verden and his son Welser became Reserve Champion. In 1998 his son, Waterford, became Champion Stallion at the Licensing in Verden. In 1999 Waterford was also the impressive winner of the Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year, another son of Wolkenstein II, Wildest Dream, won the Three Year Old Riding Horses (mares and geldings) Classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. Currently, Wolkenstein II has produced more than 19 licensed sons of highest quality.
